Romans chapters 1-8
Hebrews 6
The core of Jesus’s ministry is not only forgiveness of sins. Although He has the power to forgive which He even exercised while on earth, the core of His gospel is essentially the ministry of Reconciliation. This ministry brings the full redemption story to man and provides him will connectivity to God and immortality. Forgiveness of sin alone does not guarantee man’s full connectivity to God and immortality.
Forgiveness of sin was a provision made available before Jesus came. The blood of bulls and goat could produce this seamlessly through the law. The death and resurrection of Jesus was to bring man to the Cross where his journey to the full gospel begins.
Jesus came to reconcile and restore man to the very first nature of Adam before the fall - Divine life, so that man can then begin his journey of ascension into the full stature of Christ through His Life.
The forgiveness of sin and the ministry of reconciliation are the full pack of the redemption story of Jesus Christ given to man as eternal life. The fullness of the gospel of the blessing of Jesus Christ will make man experience the weight of God’s glory that will make it impossible for him to turn back, backslide or go back into the fallen state of man.
Very few men have experienced the fullness of the blessings of the gospel of Jesus Christ. A lot of church history has chronicled the forgiveness of sin through atonement by the blood of bulls and goats in the Old Testament and into the death of Jesus which provided that New Testament experience of the forgiveness of sin. However most church chronicles stop at the death of Jesus where their message to the world is only that Jesus died to forgive the sins of man. This message is incomplete but this is only what most of humanity has ever experienced. Therefore the church most of the time has lived to only present an incomplete message of the redemption story to the believer and the world.
The believer experiences the death of Jesus but still finds it extremely difficult to live with that revelation in the midst of a massively advancing darkness that has now reinvented itself into gross darkness and will unleash greater doom in days to come, darkness that even mercy and grace of God will not be enough to make a child of God navigate through because of the sophistication of the operations of darkness in that day.
There is more beyond the forgiveness of our sins. The believer will only live at best an average life on earth if all he tastes is the forgiveness of sin through the death of Jesus on the Cross. He will rise and fall, he will be tired often and he will master the act of confessing his sins which he expects to disappear after his years of following Jesus. He will be weary and the weariness risks his falling back into the terrible state of the adamic nature. He may then lose faith while still in the church, while still in the faith he learns to always confess but never gets to the place of forsaking the sins. He may never experience the life of God that truly works in a believer to make him God’s Saint through the ministry of reconciliation where he experiences the glory of God that can forever dent a man’s nature and make it impossible for him to find his way back to sin, self or flesh. This was the story of Stephen who saw the glory of God and Jesus standing in heaven. At that point it was impossible to experience pain, time, limitation of humanity and persecution anymore. He slept as all saints do when they taste of the glory of God.
The gospel of the church of this age has done very well in providing materials for man to experience the death of Jesus in a legalistic manner. Man has only learned to hover in circles whenever he follows the pathway of legalism provided by the church of this age. This provision has not the life of Christ in it although it keeps the vivid form and structure of godliness.
Unfortunately, man doesn’t know that the darkness of this age has advanced beyond that of the days of Adam. The world has stewarded the pattern of gross darkness through the conjugal life between the sons of God and the daughters of men to birth giants of extraterrestrial life who will now emerge to show the earth the deepest part of darkness kept for the last days. The believer who has been only introduced to the death of Jesus and has only experienced the forgiveness of sins through mercy and grace cannot survive the operations of this darkness. This is where even the very elect will be deceived. This is why man must advance to experience the fullness of the blessing of the gospel of Jesus Christ through advancing by the Life of Christ into the ministry of reconciliation.
We are to live the life of liberty through the establishment of the perfect law of liberty which we latch onto when we experience the forgiveness of sins through the blood of Jesus Christ.
The Law comes with standards and regulations
In this are:
- The Cross of Christ : A pure language (From the heart to the tongue).
- The Conduct of Christ.
- The Character of Jesus Christ.
- The Culture of God.
- The Civilization of God among men.
All the above will be made available to us in modules as we taste of His forgiveness through His mercy and grace from the redemption of our lives by the blood of Jesus shed on the Cross.
Expressions were found from the beginning, Adam was created as the natural outer court man who was greater than the fallen Adam. His nature at creation was divinity. His journey was to begin by the standards of the life given Spirit that entered into Him through the breathe of God in his nostril. So Adam was to go from:
- Creation - Outer court, lower level Genesis 1:26-28
- Formation - Inner, Holy place Genesis 2:7-8, Job 32:8
- Making - Holies of Holy, upper room, reconciliation room Genesis 3, Romans 1-8, Hebrews 6-10
Noah showed this model in his construction,
Lower, Mid and Upper room. Moses built the tabernacle with this model: Outer, inner court and Holies of Holy.
Solomon built the temple with this model too.
All the men above touched the shadow of the model for the prototype structure in the perfect law of liberty.
Through the blood of Jesus Christ, we are initiated into the life of liberty. The resultant effect is that the perfect law becomes our standard and regulation. The establishment of these is the Holy Spirit and He enforces them.
The enforcement provides us with the Life of Christ which is the material required, the only tool recognized by God for the commencement of the full blessing of the gospel of Jesus - The Ministry of Reconciliation
Three (3) materials will be presented and made available to a believer on this journey:
- The Heavenly gift - from the Life of Jesus. Here the believer experiences the first nature of Adam - divinity. He begins to learn how not to confer with flesh and blood. Time begins to lose its grip on him from here.
- The partaking of the Holy Spirit - Here, the believer through the life of Jesus in him partakes of the Person of the Holy Spirit. He begins to learn that anointing is different from righteousness. He begins to journey through the gift of righteousness into the realms of Godliness.
- The Powers of the Age to come - Here, the ministry of reconciliation has entered into an advanced stage where the believer cannot know his way back into the flesh and blood realm again. The GPS cannot trace him or control him backwards. This is where the fullness of the blessing of the gospel of Jesus Christ is - the glory of God. This glory will propel man into the space where he tastes of the full stature of Christ. He is deemed heaven on earth at this stage and his body has completely given way for the glory of God. Nothing in him at this point can hinder him or control his life. Christ has taken the key and become the door of his life. Living and dying mean the same thing to him at this stage.
The forgiveness of sin was the objective for the massive investment in animals in the Old Testament era as wealth was secondary because man must plan the atonement for his sins even before he plans to commit the sin. He did not have a provision for ever rising above his proclivity because he enjoyed it and he had philosophical reasons to support his claim that no man can be holy and perfect. It’s unfortunate that even with the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the church of this age has not advanced beyond the sprinkling of the blood for the confession of our sins as the belief is that Jesus died only to take our sins away. Most of the church’s messages have not presented the resurrection of Christ where the forsaking of sin is possible through the experience of the ministry of reconciliation by the Life of Christ.
The fullness of the blessing of the gospel of Jesus Christ is in the full redemption story - Forgiveness of Sin and the Ministry of Reconciliation. The first takes the fallen man away from his adamic nature while the second provides him with the integration into the divine life where he is fully reconciled to God through the Life of Jesus Christ and not by his activity. The second one presents man with the attainment of the full stature of Christ in this life. To rise above the gross darkness of this age and the coming generations, the believer must experience the fullness of the blessing of the gospel of Jesus Christ. There’s no other way he can escape the coming darkness. None.
